Ever since I started my podcast, I have aimed for them to be evergreen.
Meaning: let the episodes be just as valuable 10 years from now as they are today (if not more). It doesn’t always work, and it’s not always the right strategy. But when in doubt, it’s the one I tend to lean toward.
