And in this post, I’ll give you my exact workflow.
I genuinely believe if you’re a podcaster right now and you’re not creating clips, you’re leaving massive growth on the table. Almost every platform (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) is tweaking their algorithm to favor them. So take advantage of it.
By “clips,” I mean vertical content (typically under 60 seconds) from your podcast.
Before diving into it, I must say that my output over the past two weeks has decreased. It turns out that running a daily newsletter and a 3x/week podcast is pretty time-consuming.
I will also say: thank you to all the amazing people who have done clips for me for free because you enjoy the podcast. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for your generosity.
But with all that being said, I must get back on the short-form bandwagon with violent action for November if I plan to get this podcast to 1,000,000 plays per month.
So in this post, going to show you my exact workflow for creating clips. My most successful one was a 16-second clip with Sebastian Ghiorghiu that has over 4.7 million views as an Instagram Reel.
